I joined the Board of the Assistive Technology Association New Zealand in 2026. My background is in speech language therapy, trained in Germany, and I've been working in Aotearoa New Zealand since 2002, supporting people of all ages in various roles in the private and public sector. Currently I'm working  as a Speech - language Therapist  and Local Assistive Technology Coordinator in Gisborne/Tairāwhiti.

My passion lies in ensuring that every person—regardless of their circumstances—has the opportunity to communicate to the best of their abilities, in any situation, with any communication partner, and about any topic. I believe that awareness, suitable professional development and access to relevant equipment is key in achieving this. I’m excited to contribute to making our shared ATANZ vision a reality — ensuring that everyone in Aotearoa New Zealand who needs assistive technology can access high‑quality support and services.
